หากคุณกำลังคิดถึงบรรยากาศการเยี่ยมชมแกลเลอรี่ยามค่ำคืน เตรียมตัวได้เลย เพราะแกลเลอรี่ ไนท์ ครั้งที่ 11 กำลังจะกลับมาอีกครั้ง
ความเป็นมาของแกลเลอรี่ ไนท์
งานแกลเลอรี่ ไนท์ เปิดตัวเป็นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย เมื่อปี 2556 ซึ่งปัจจุบันงานนี้ได้กลายมาเป็นจุดเด่นของงานเทศกาลทางวัฒนธรรมในกรุงเทพมหานคร โดยจำนวนผู้เยี่ยมชมที่มีใจรักในศิลปะและผู้ที่ชื่นชอบความแปลกใหม่ได้เพิ่มจำนวนมากขึ้นทุก ๆ ปี
โดยงาน แกลเลอรี่ ไนท์ ได้รับแรงบัลดาลใจมาจากงาน 'ค่ำคืนที่ไม่เคยหลับใหล' หรือ 'Nuit Blanche Paris' (Sleepless Night) งานที่อุทิศให้กับทัศนศิลป์และศิลปะร่วมสมัยที่ประสบความสำเร็จไปทั่วโลก แกลเลอรี่ ไนท์ กลายเป็นเทศกาลประจำปีที่เปลี่ยนกรุงเทพให้กลายเป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์กลางแจ้งที่รื่นเริงและเป็นมิตร
เมื่อปี 2566 ที่ผ่านมา มีผู้เยี่ยมชม แกลเลอรี่กว่า 70 แห่ง รวม 34,000 คน ตลอดระยะเวลา 2 คืนทั้งในกรุงเทพฯ และบางแสน
จุดประสงค์
เป้าหมายของเราคือการสร้างแรงขับเคลื่อนทางศิลปะรูปแบบใหม่ โดยการสนับสนุนศิลปะท้องถิ่นควบคู่ไปกับการส่งเสริมศิลปะร่วมสมัยให้กับผู้ชมในวงกว้าง เราเชื่อว่าศิลปะร่วมสมัยมีความสำคัญต่อกรุงเทพฯ และเรายังเชื่ออีกว่ากรุงเทพฯ จะกลายเป็นศูนย์กลางศิลปะร่วมสมัยเช่นเดียวกับมหานครอื่น ๆ ได้ในอีกไม่ช้า
ปีนี้พิเศษกว่าที่เคย
แกลเลอรี่ ไนท์ มีแกลเลอรี่หน้าใหม่เข้าร่วมทุกปี ซึ่งเป็นการเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้เยี่ยมชมแกลเลอรี่ใหม่ ๆ ในกรุงเทพฯ ตลอดช่วงแกลเลอรี่ ไนท์ ครั้งที่ 11 ที่กำลังจะมาถึง
ปีนี้พิเศษกว่าที่เคย เพราะเราจะจัดแกลเลอรี่ ไนท์ที่เชียงใหม่ด้วย ระหว่างวันที่ 29-30 พฤศจิกายนนี้ โดยกิจกรรมดังกล่าวเกิดขึ้นจากความร่วมมือของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย กับ คณะวิจิตรศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ติดตามรอข่าวสารข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเร็ว ๆ นี้

History
Launched in 2013, Galleries’ Nights is nowadays a highlight of the cultural season in Bangkok bringing together, year after year, a larger audience of onlookers and art lovers.
The inspiration of this event comes from “Nuit Blanche Paris” (Sleepless Night), an event where museum and art spaces stay open all-night long, which has now achieved worldwide renown. Galleries’ Nights turns the City of Angels into a festive and friendly open-museum.
In 2023, it invited a large audience of 34,000 visitors to discover more than 70 galleries for two nights in Bangkok and Bangsaen
Objective
Our goals are to create a new artistic dynamic, by supporting our local art scene and promoting contemporary art to a wider audience. We believe that contemporary art has a significant potential in Bangkok. Indeed, many elements are indicating that Bangkok will soon become a contemporary art center like other metropolises.
What makes this year special?
As you know, we have new galleries joining every year, so the visitors can surely explore new art spaces in Bangkok during our 11th edition of Galleries’ Nights.
Moreover, with the help from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, we are pleased to announce that we will organize Galleries’ Nights in Chiang Mai as well! It will take place during 29-30 November 2024. Please stay tuned for more details!
